Abstract: This study sought to investigate the influence of normal body changes counselling on pregnancy outcomes among expectant mothers in public health centers in Eldoret City, Kenya. This was in the light of concern that many mothers lack adequate and timely information on antenatal health care before, during and after delivery which has led to high mortality rates. The study was anchored on Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT), which posited that dysfunctional thinking patterns are at the core of emotional distress and maladaptive behavior Ex-post facto research design was engaged. The target population included 88 expectant out of which 72 mothers were selected using simple random sampling. The study utilized questionnaire for data collection. The analysis of the data involved both the use of descriptive and inferential statistics. The study results demonstrated that normal body changes awareness counselling significantly influenced pregnancy outcomes (p<0.05). The study concluded that normal body changes awareness counselling contributed positively to pregnancy outcomes. Healthcare providers should therefore enhance antenatal counseling. Policymakers should implement structured counseling programs to improve maternal health literacy and outcomes. Strengthening midwife training and increasing community awareness on the benefits of antenatal care will improve maternal and neonatal health in Kenya.
