Abstract: This study focused on the influence of Personal Factors on the Enrolment of Female Students in Engineering Courses in Technical and Vocational Education and Training Institutions in Uasin Gishu County.The study adopted a concurrent mixed-method design in the mixed-method approach. The target population comprised 6 Principals, 60 Engineering trainers, and 480 female Engineering students. Both probability and non-probability sampling techniques were used. The instruments used were questionnaires, interview schedules, and an in-depth interview guide. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze quantitative data. Qualitative data was transcribed, coded, and organized into themes.
